EnerLux Windows in Portland, OR

When it comes to window replacement, the material matters more than most homeowners realize. EnerLux fiberglass windows are built from pultruded fiberglass — one of the most dimensionally stable, energy-efficient materials available — and they’re engineered to outperform vinyl and aluminum in nearly every category that matters: air and water resistance, thermal efficiency, sound dampening, and long-term durability. At Zen Windows Portland, we’re proud to offer EnerLux as part of our product lineup because we only carry windows we’d put in our own homes.

Whether you’re replacing a single problem window or doing a whole-home project, EnerLux gives you a product that will perform beautifully for decades — without warping, swelling, or losing its seal over time. Below you’ll find an overview of the three primary window styles we offer in the EnerLux fiberglass line.

EnerLux Casement Windows

EnerLux casement windows are engineered for maximum air and water resistance, using a pultruded fiberglass frame with silicone-sealed, chemically bonded corners (their proprietary Super Strength Corner System), triple weather-stripping, and a multi-point locking system. The frames are foam-filled for added thermal performance and sound dampening.

Because fiberglass is 8x stronger than vinyl, these windows can be built up to 30% larger than comparable vinyl or aluminum casements. All units come standard with FlexScreen and BetterVue mesh for a clean, frameless look.

EnerLux Awning Windows

EnerLux awning windows are hinged at the top and crank open from the bottom — ideal for ventilation during light rain since the sash naturally sheds water as it falls. They share the same core construction as the casement line: S2C corner bonding, triple weather-stripping, foam-filled fiberglass frames, and thick 3.9mm glass. Available in double or triple pane with Argon or Krypton gas fill, and they carry the same FlexScreen/BetterVue standard inclusion.

EnerLux Picture Windows

EnerLux offers two fixed window profiles — a Fixed Casement and a Low Profile Picture Window. The Fixed Casement matches the visual profile of the casement and awning lines for a seamless look across a home’s exterior. The Low Profile Picture Window features a slim 1.5″ frame to maximize glass area, and can be built up to 120″ in either direction (max 190 united inches total). Both options include foam-filled fiberglass frames, thick glass, and expanded Argon-filled IG units for excellent thermal and acoustic performance.

Change how you see the world from your home when you work with Zen Windows. We revolutionized the way homeowners purchase windows, and have the reputation to prove how successful we’ve been in improving the process.
